Writing is
for Career or Social?
I ever read
that Emha Ainunnajib says: “Writing is not for career, but more for social.”
The statement
above motivates a top blogger Budi Rahadjo to write continuously. But it also
makes me to think more: “really only for social?”
If writing
is for social, I am doubt when joining program “Monetizing of blog”. And I
often hear there are writers who are success in writing world. Yes, after that
the writers frequently do social activities.
So, I ask
again. The meaning of statement above is pure 100% for social interest or we
will do social thing automatically?
